A very nice quality George III Sterling Silver Gilt curved snuff box, hallmarked for Birmingham 1808 by John Shaw.

Beautifully decorated with leaf design to both sides. Gilded interior. Cartouche has initials.

It measures 7 cm x 4 cm x 2 cm and weighs 56.8 grams, a good weight.

Condition is very good for its 200+ years, hallmarks are good, gilding bright, some wear and small dings, usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
