Description

A very nice and rare Georgian Sterling Silver and gilt Circular Cylindrical Vinaigrette with Sponge. Unmarked but dating from the late 18th to the early 19th Century.

Opening to reveal a gilded pierced grille.

Measuring 2 cm Diameter x 1.8 cm high and weighs 16.2 grams.

In very good antique condition, internal gilding good, small split to the edge of the grill (see photo), overall a lovely period piece. Initials to the top.
