A rare Victorian Sterling Silver and gilt Vinaigrette by Colen Hewer Cheshire hallmarked for Birmingham 1892.

A stunning Victorian silver gilt vinaigrette, of curved rectangular form, beautifully engraved to the lid and base.

The hinged cover opens to reveal a gilt interior, with a pierced hinged grille, fully hallmarked to the interior. Central circular cartouche to lid engraved with the name Jessie. With hanging loop.

Measuring 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm and weighs approximately 20.6 grams.

In very good antique condition, hallmarks are good, gilding is still bright. Usual signs of wear all commensurate of age and use.
