An antique Victorian sterling silver canteen of cutlery designed in the Kings pattern style for twelve persons. It has been made to the highest standard and remains in pristine condition and would be perfect to use on the dining table. It consists of:

12 x table knives: 24.5 cms (9.6'') in length, Sheffield 1964/5 by Harrison Brothers & Howson

This wonderful set of cutlery sits neatly in a mahogany box measuring 45 cms (17.7'') x 32.5 cms (12.7'') x 24 cms (9.5''). The box has been re-lined and re-fitted to make it look more presentable and the cutlery ranges in dates between 1891 - 1896 and was made by George Maudsley Jackson and Aldwinckle & Slater. The Kings pattern knives with stainless steel blades, which match the set perfectly, were made in Sheffield for 1964/5 by Harrison Brothers & Howson. they were originally sold in Harrods, London. There are 86 pieces in total and the silver weights 156.9 troy ounces (4,879 grams) without the knives. There are intertwined initials on the brass plaque on top of the box.
