Description

A fabulous top-quality Victorian salver standing on three very grand ball and claw feet. The beautiful shaped salver measures 16" in diameter (leaf to leaf) making this a very usable salver for serving purposes as well as making the most decorative centrepiece table-top.

The salver is beautifully engraved with various Fern motifs, very English and typically Victorian, as sort-after today as 120 years ago.

The underside is hallmarked by the famous English silversmith, James Deakin & Son and dates the piece to around 1890.

Excellent condition.
