Antique English Sterling Silver Jewelry / Ring Box - 1906

Description

A charming and highly decorative sterling silver trinket box standing on three elegant cabriole legs. The box is beautifully embossed on the lid and right around the body of the box.

The lid fits perfectly and the hinge in perfect working order and once opened reveals the original velvet and silk interior (some wear commensurate with age, but wonderful to be the origninal). The interior of the lid is gilded, washed in opulent gold.

The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1906, a true Edwardian example together with the makers initials S*B for the English silversmith, Synyer & Beddoes.

Excellent condition, measuring 3" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall.
