Japanese bronze okimono of a wolf, signed, c. 1890, Meiji Period. The study of a wolf, well cast, and modelled prowling. He has glass eyes, and his hair well delineated.
 
Bearing the original patination.
 
In the manner of Genryusai Seiya.
 
Incised two character signature to the underside.
 
Length – 48 cm, 19”.
 
Height – 22 cm, 8 3/4”.
 
Condition – No damage. No repair.
