Antique Silver Fruit or Bread Basket

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a large sterling silver bread or fruit basket with a pretty pierced design and curving shape. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 447g.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1913 and the makers Goldsmiths & Silversmiths

It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few small dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
