A Victorian Silver Plated & Cut Glass Biscuit Barrel

A fine silver plated biscuit barrel from the end of the Victorian era. The tapering body is extensively cut with hobnails and facet panels. The base is cut with a multi point star and the quality of the finish is excellent. The lid, collar and handle are silver plated and the overall look is both stylish and eye-catching. A lovely piece, as decorative as it is practical. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, losses or splits to the silver plate and no chips or cracks to the glass.
