Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The fob is set into 9ct rose gold mount with a gold cast standing lion between ball finials. The gold is hallmarked on the round edge for 9ct gold Birmingham and the date letter a for 1900. The fob is in very good condition with some light wear to the gold and stone in accordance with its age. The fob measures 34mm high (including bale), 22mm wide and 9mm deep. Weighs 7.3g.
