Sheffield 1925 Pair of Solid Silver Bright Cut Preserve Spoons.

Description

Sheffield 1925 pair of English hallmarked solid silver jam or preserve spoons with egg shaped bowls and lovely bright cut design on both bowl and stems.

Pretty scrolled initials KC are found in the cartouche. Made by W S Savage and Company, flatware specialists, and having very clear hallmarks.

Size-5.25 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

Weight-40 grams.

A lovely pair of spoons to use for jam, preserves, relish, sauces, or whatever you like.

With just the usual fine surface scratches, they are in very good condition, and would make a nice addition to the table, or a great gift.

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
