FAQs

Mid-century silver goblets gained popularity during the 1950s and 1960s as modern dining and entertaining became more formal yet embraced contemporary minimalist aesthetics.

These items are typically crafted from sterling silver, containing 92.5% silver by weight, often shaped through spinning or casting, combined with hand-hammered or chased detailing on the stem.

Authenticity is verified by locating official silver hallmarks stamped on the base or rim, which indicate the metal standard, assay office, makers mark, and date letter.

Displaying a silver goblet on a sideboard, bar cart, or dining table centre adds a reflective metallic accent that complements both modern minimalist and eclectic schemes.

Preserve the finish by washing with mild soap and warm water, drying thoroughly with a soft cloth, and using specialized silver polish only when necessary to remove tarnish.
