Antique Silver Cigarette Box

1920 - 1940
Description

A good example of an antique solid sterling silver Cigarette Box with a wood lined interior. It is a good quality piece with all over engine turned engraving and it is raised on four feet. The front cartouche is engraved with initials P.R.W.

It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1945 and the maker Bert Gordon.

It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has picked up some small knocks and minor surface marks but no major damages. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 2" / 5cm

Length : 6 3/4” / 7cm

Width : 4" / 10cm
