Description

An attractive Victorian oak pedestal desk, featuring a rectangular top with a green leather inset writing surface. Beneath the top are three frieze drawers, each fitted with round brass drop handles. The desk is supported by twin pedestals, each containing three graduating drawers, providing a total of six additional drawers around a central kneehole. Raised on a plinth base with castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, showing authentic signs of age and use. The desk exhibits some loss to the edges and lifting to the leather writing surface, along with marks on the top. There is minor loss to some of the drawers and fading and staining to the sides. Despite these signs of wear, the desk remains solid and functional, retaining its classic Victorian character.
