Antique George VI Sterling Silver Dish - 1948

Description

A beautiful antique George VI sterling silver dish which is circular in shape with curved edges, attractive pierced decoration to the body with leaf and grape detailing and resting on a raised circular foot. This wonderful silver dish would look appealing displayed on the table and would be practical to use for grapes or fruit. It remains in excellent condition.

Height: 5.3 cms (2.1")

Diameter: 26.7 cms (10.5")

Weight: 20.8 troy ounces (647 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1948 by Henry Atkin (Atkin Brothers).
