Victorian Silver Propelling Pen and Pencil

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique silver propelling pen and pencil. There are two sliding grips on each side, one for the pencil and one for the pen. It is a good quality piece and very well made.

It is hallmarked for London, 1897 and the maker's Sampson & Mordan. There is also an additional maker's stamp"S.Mordan & Co".

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few signs of use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements :

Length closed : 3 1/2" / 9cm

Length open : 4 1/4" / 11cm
