In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The total weight of silver is approximately 81g and every piece is individually hallmarked for Birmingham and the makers Joseph Gloster. The spoons are dated 1899 and the tongs are 1900.
Every piece is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks and light dinks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The box is good quality with a red silk lining and fitted velvet base. There are some minor marks and scuffs around the outer corners and edges but overall the box displays well.
