Antique silver Churchill chain and fob.

The chain measures 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar and clasp are both hallmarked for 1915, with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith William Walter Cashmore. Each of the long links has the lion silver mark.

The chain comes with a silver fob, hallmarked for 1927. The front has a vacant shield. The reverse has an inscription, ‘Norwich SS, 1927-8, Primary’, together with a registered design number for a 1920 design.

Total weight 34.5g.
