Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The necklace is in overall pristine condition. This is a classic Charles Horner necklace which is fully hallmarked for Chester 1911. The bird probably a swallow has a slight curve to it and is a truly superb piece of jewellery. It weighs approx 4.4g and the bird measures 5cm by 1.5cm. The silver chain measures approx 42cm.
