Victorian Silver Gilt Etruscan Torpedo Earrings

Fantastic 19th century torpedo earrings in gilded silver, covered all over with intricate Etruscan-style wirework. The points at the bottom and the decorative wires are quite gold in colour, while the central sections are more a silvery-gold mix.

• Condition: In excellent antique condition.

• Fixing: Silver gilt ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone "keepers" for additional security.

• Stamps/hallmarks: None.

• Era: Victorian (c.1837-1901).

• Size: Approx 5.8cm drop from the top of the ear wires; the torpedoes measure approx 3.5 x 1.3cm.

• Weight: 6.1g.
