Antique Silver Match Box Holder

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a large sterling silver match box cover with attractive stag design. It stands on four small ball feet and it has its original liner and match box.

It is clearly hallmarked for William J Holmes, Birmingham, 1902.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
