The Earring Curator has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

• Condition: In very good antique condition; the facets of the pastes are nice and crisp with just a few pits visible under magnification. The smaller pastes may once have been foiled at the back, there are a few tiny remnants, but little now remains.

• Fixing: Hinged backs.
• Era: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
• Hallmarks/stamps: There are indistinct stamps at the top of the wires.
• Size: Approximately 1.5cm drop from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the cushion cut. The large stones measure approximately 8mm diameter and the earrings are around 5mm deep.
• Weight: 3.2g.
