N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This beautiful Dunhill lighter has a solid silver “Ingot” style case which is fully hallmarked. The hallmarks consist of a lion to show that it is solid English sterling silver, a lions head to show that it was made and assayed in London, the markers mark “AD” to show that it was made by Alfred Dunhill & Sons, and the date letter “T” to show that it was made in 1993.
The lighter is an extremely rare and limited edition example. It is number 100 of only 400 that were made. The lighter also comes in its original box.
