Art Deco Danish silver jewellery is characterised by clean architectural lines, stylised natural motifs, and a focus on the natural lustre of high-grade silver, often incorporating oxidised details to create depth.

Craftsmen typically utilised sterling silver or 830 grade silver, employing techniques such as repousse, chasing, hand-polishing, and traditional casting to achieve sculptural dimension.

Authentic pieces usually bear makers marks, silversmith stamps, and standard silver purity hallmarks, often accompanied by assay office symbols stamped on the reverse.

Vintage silver pieces add a touch of heritage and sculptural interest when pinned to the lapel of a tailored blazer, worn on a minimalist knit, or used to fasten a silk scarf.

Silver pieces should be cleaned gently with a specialised microfibre polishing cloth to remove tarnish, avoiding harsh chemical dips that can strip away desirable original oxidisation.
