A Large Pair of George III Silver Candlesticks.
Each with a lift out drip pan, decorated to the rim with scrolling leaves, falling with overlapping harebells toward the centre. The drip pans fitting within campana shaped flower decorated candle holders, bordered by rising scroll work, the stems of baluster shape, with rising harebells emerging from shell knops, and reaching spreading leaf shoulders, enclosing hanging flowers. The bases with gadrooned collars over falling leaves meeting swagged flower filled panels, divided by harebell borders, meeting the rising and scrolling leaves of the foot rim.
The candlesticks hallmarked for W A London 1769.
