A Super Victorian Antique Pine Ladies Make Up Chest of Drawers to Wax / Paint

This chest is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it ready to wax or paint.

The chest would look well in an old or modern property amongst similar antique pine furniture in a large bedroom for a lady to apply make up etc with a large decorative mirror placed above it on the wall.

The secretaire stands on splayed back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are three large drawers to the bottom with each drawer having metal drop handles and key escutcheons, dovetail joints and are pine lined. The top drawer is actually a fold down pull out section where one can store make up supplies etc. This was obviously used as a secretaire in victorian times and still could be used for this purpose. The top has a curved drawer with carvings upon it. The top is in good condition with a bull nosed edge. There are turned columns to the sides. There is a key that opens the flap and behind the door there are many jewellery drawers etc.

Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
