A stunning gilt bronze Buddha from Ayutthaya Thailand. The piece is modelled in the Sankhaburi style in the abhaya mudra stance palms in front.

The piece has a fastening rind to the base point to a temple deity. The piece has verdigris particularly to the lower robes and areas of limescale pointing again to a the piece having been house near running water.
