Antique Solid Silver Art Deco Cake Stand

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a beauty! A heavy solid sterling silver cake stand with wonderful Art Deco decoration.

The stand is hallmarked for Sheffield 1933 with the maker's mark of Frank Cobb & Co Ltd. It is plain with a stepped inner square, with the four corners beautifully cut with typical Art Deco style. It stands well on four splayed feet and is in remarkably good condition. Any 'marks' in the photographs are shadows.
