Stunning American Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Card Case C1905 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning American sterling silver card case. It is hallmarked sterling but there is no makers mark, however its style and engraving is almost certainly American. It will date to c1905 having a beautiful Art Nouveau design. It has been engraved AA. It is in very good condition being free from dings, splits, holes and repairs, with just a little scratching to the reverse - see photos. It measures approx 3.5 inches (9cm) by 2.75 inches (6.6cm) excluding the chain and 72 grams. A superbly designed top quality example.
