A good quality set of Victorian silver salts with matching spoons. The salts stand on three hooved feet and are decorated with ornate repousse decoration. The small spoons have apostle handles and the bowls of the spoons and the salts are gilt lined.
Each piece is individually hallmarked for Edinburgh, 1859 and the maker Mackay & Chisholm. The whole set weighs approximately 136g.
Every piece is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks but nothing detrimental and the gilt linings are bright. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
