Description

A very fine and rare pair of miniature candlestick holders.

They are made by Spode circa 1815 and very elegantly shaped with flared stems and beaded pearl borders.

The décor is also nothing short of luxurious – a rare fully hand painted pattern 2478 of colourful flower spays on a rich cobalt ground with gently spiralled fine gold lines.

Fully marked to the reverse with painted mark in red and a patter number.

A fantastic collector’s item!

Dimensions: height – 4.5 cm, base diameter – 3.4 cm, top diameter – 1.8 cm.

Condition: excellent condition without any damage or repair, no crazing of losses to the enamel and only minor wear to gold.
