A beautiful antique silver-plated serving set nicely presented in its original case, lined with silk and velvet.
Made in England, in Sheffield, in 1911, by the Frank Cobb silver workshop.
The items feature beautiful intricate openwork design with fine engraving, handles are made of ivorine (early plastic, imitation ivory, that’s been also used for jewellery), cuffs – sterling silver.
Marked on both the working part of the cake slice and the cuffs of both items.
Dimensions: cake slice – length – 30 cm, width – 6 cm. Fork – length – 23 cm, width – 5 cm.
Condition: excellent. The items have clearly never been used, making it a perfect gift choice.
