Victorian Silver Enamelled Forget Me Not Earrings

These pretty 19th century silver earrings have tiny forget-me-not flowers at their blue enamelled centres; in the Victorian language of flowers, the forget me not is a symbol of true love, remembrance and loyalty.

• Condition: The earrings are in very good antique condition, with a lovely aged patina and no enamel losses.

• Fixing: Solid silver ear wires; supplied with tiny silicone keepers which you can pop over the ends of the wires for security.

• Era: Victorian, c.1880s.

• Hallmarks/stamps: None.

• Size: 3cm from the top of the ear wire; the pendant section is 2cm diameter.

• Weight: 5.8g.
