Harthill Yorkshire Cricket Club Sterling Silver Tray Salver 1878 Antique 530g

Description

A rare beautiful English antique solid sterling silver tray / salver. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1878 with the makers marks being JD&S. It has been beautifully engraved with ferns, all the rage at the time, and an inscription relating to Harthill Cricket Club and Kiveton Hall in Yorkshire England. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 10 inches (25.4cm) across and weighs 530 grams. A very good quality very interesting piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
