Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl & Cream Jug Strawberry Set by Hukin & Heath Dated 1890

The jug and bowl are both made from solid sterling silver in a delightful shape with scrolling upper rims and they stand on raised circular feet, the jug has a delightful scrolled handle and they have a combined silver weight of 3.96 Troy ounces or 123.3 grams. They have Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram and they have been impressed with matching English solid sterling silver hallmarks

The Jug & Bowl have No Dents, No Holes, No Splits, No Cracks and No Repairs that I can find, they both stand straight, the decoration is crisp, the silver hallmarks are slightly rubbed in places but still legible, they both hold liquid without leaking although as the jug and bowl are used antiques they do have some minor internal marks and surface wear from use, they have the patina of age that is to be expected and as they are in the totally original condition that they were found a gentle clean would enhance them greatly. Personally I think that this antique sugar bowl and cream jug strawberry set can still be used today and that they would make a superb addition to any collection, I also think that they look fantastic considering that they are over 120 years old.
