Large Antique Victorian 9ct Back and Front Locket

Beautiful Antique Victorian 9ct Back and Front Locket rectangular shape. This is a superb quality locket measuring 3cm by 2.3cm not including the bale. It is adorned with beautiful and detailed hand carved decoration of flowers and leaves and borders on both the back and front. The locket is a deep well rounded rectangle shape, well formed on both sides which gives it a very tactile feel. The locket is not marked but tested for 9ct back and front which means the inner parts are not gold and neither is the border. The locket is in excellent condition for its age with no dents or bashes. I would say its a medium to large sized locket, the inside is in great useable condition with plexiglass and photographs space on both sides. With some minor wear to the gold in accordance to its age. Closes well but does not click shut. The total weight is 8.6g
