Hanau Sterling Silver Pepper Mint Snuff Box 1909 Antique Chester English Import

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful Hanau (Germany) solid sterling silver peppermint box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with the English Import marks for Chester 1909 with the importer being B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller). It has been beautifully designed depicting a flower basket and musical instruments. The inside has been gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean and the hinge is strong. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall by the same across and weighs 28 grams. A beautiful piece.
