Rare Georgian Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass Eye Loupe C1820 Antique

Description

A rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver and faux tortoiseshell magnifying glass eye loupe. It is unmarked but test as high grade silver. I would date it to c1820. It has been superb made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.2cm) long closed by 2.75 inches (7cm) open by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 14 grams. A very well designed rare piece.
