A beautiful English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903 with the maker being Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. It has been superbly made decorated with scrolls and the cartouche is free from any engravings. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 3 inches (8cm) long by almost 2 inches (4.9cm) tall and weighs 34 grams (you can get cards made to measure online). A superbly designed beautifully clean example.
