A bespoke mattress would be required, we can supply a bespoke mattress on request for very competitive price.The manufacturer�s brass plaque is on the headboard, the cabinetmaker was one of the talented Parisian artisans and won a medal at the World�s Fair of 1867.The bed has a very ornately carved footboard with floral swags, ribbons and very intricate flowers including peonies.The frame has carved detailing and the bed stands on carved escargot feet with original brass castors.The headboard has a carved motif above the frame and has a wonderful panel with amazing grain detailing which only comes from using the very best walnut.The bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.The dimensions are Headboard 1410 mm overall height 1650 mm overall width Footboard 860 mm overall height 1650 mm overall width 2060 mm overall length Height is 141cm (55.5inches)
