This lovely bed is brimming with detail and has lovely shaping to the head and foot end. Very nicely shaped tapered and fluted posts with foliate detail flank the panels, on which there are further foliate carvings and geometric figuring. Really nicely detailed finals sit atop each of the posts.The siderails and the bottom of the foot end panel have further interlocking floral and geometric shaping adding to this impressive beds overall attraction. We have lovingly restored this bed, repairing where needed, cleaning and generally restoring to be a beautiful and practical heirloom piece. There are some remnants and signs of the beds previous life having been upholstered, however we have re-finished to blend in and restore to it�s natural/original form.
