Antique Glass Match Striker with Silver Rim

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a small globular match holder with a solid silver rim. The holder itself is made from ribbed glass and the hole in the top is to store the matches.

The silver rim is clearly hallmarked for London, 1921, Henry Perkins & Sons.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents and surface marks on the silver rim and some small chips and scuffs to the glass but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 2” / 5cm

Diameter : 2 1/4" / 5.5cm
