Here we have for sale today this Wonderful Bonheur-De-Jour Metamorphic Desk or Writing Table.
Dating 1910 ish and all made in mahogany, standing on these square tapered reeded legs, with this two drawer arrangement, drawers are fitted with original brass swan-neck handles. Having this Metamorphic folding writing top, all cross-banded in mahogany and having this leather insert, no expensive spared with this new replacement black leather with gold and blind tooling. The top section having this galleried surround, with a four drawer arrangement with two oval panelled doors with a collection of pigeon holes plus interior drawers.
Its been into the polish shop for a clean and polish and looks stunning having this medium mahogany colour plus a lovely polish. (please see pictures) Overall depth when opened 70cm
Solid in all its joints with No breaks, No splits, No woodworm.
