Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The centre of the salver is a stylish plain polished silver. It stands straight and firm on 3 decorative scroll tipped feet.

Very clear hallmarks are visible on the base of the salver for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1928 along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker's mark is also clear and crisp for the silvermaker: Martin Hall and co. a long established firm who traded ( initially as Roberts & Hall) from the 1850's until 1932.

The grand proportions of the salver enhance the majestic appearance of this superior item. This fabulous salver would grace any table or display, and it would make a superb trophy.
Condition: In wonderful fine antique condition. There is the tiniest pinprick dint to the centre of the salver, but it is really very minor and only mentioned for absolute accuracy. There are also some very fine scratches from polishing. Marks showing on images are reflections only.
