Art Deco Diamond Chalcedony 9ct Gold Chain Drop Earrings

A rare pair of original Art Deco earrings with gorgeous deep emerald-green hoops adorned with a silver ring studded with tiny rose-cut diamonds and suspended from nine-carat gold chains and wires. Each hoop is formed from a single slice of chrysoprase, a type of chalcedony, carved out and polished with decorative faceted edges; as a hand-carved natural gem, each piece is unique in colour, shape and size.

• Condition: Excellent vintage condition.

• Fixing: Nine-carat gold ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone "keepers" to pop over the ends for additional security.

• Hallmarks/stamps: None.

• Era: Art Deco c.1920s.

• Size: Approximately 4cm drop from the top of the ear wire. One hoop is 2.2cm diameter and the other 2.3cm.

• Weight: 4.3g.
