Edwardian jewellery, spanning from roughly 1901 to 1910, is characterised by lighter, more delicate designs often utilising platinum and silver, moving away from the heavy ornamentation of the Victorian era.

Traditional materials from this period include sterling silver, 9ct and 15ct gold, platinum, and various gemstones or glass enamels, often paired with delicate trace or curb link chains.

Authentic pieces typically feature period hallmarks, traditional hand-engraving, natural age-related patina on the metal, and glass rather than plastic crystals over the dial.

An antique pendant can be layered with contemporary minimalist chains to create a curated, mixed-era aesthetic that highlights its historic character.

Silver jewellery should be stored in a dry, tarnish-resistant pouch and cleaned periodically with a soft, non-abrasive microfibre cloth to preserve the metal without damaging any delicate mechanisms.
