Description

A lovely antique silver coin purse on a chain, probably made to be attached to a lady's chatelaine. It is decorated in scrolling repousse designs on both sides. It is excellent quality with a clasp and brown leather lining.

The hallmark is worn and difficult to read but we believe the maker to be Henry Clifford Davis from Birmingham and this dates to the early 20th Century.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and some small dinks and dents and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. The interior is clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
