Horse hoof solid silver mounted inkwell, hallmarked London 1923, makers mark AP FP AP for Pairpoint Brothers Alfred James Pairpoint, Francis William Pairpoint & Arthur Walter Pairpoint

The flat lid engraved:

Well made example also with silver hallmarked horse shoe

Removable silver plated inkwell liner.

Length 5,1/8" or 130mm

Weight 471g

Nothing loose, in very good sound condition.

Not recently cleaned or polished, retaining good sharp details.

Good and tight, rocks slightly on the base, probably due to shrinkage of the hoof, nothing bad.
