Art Deco Silver & Enamel Lidded Dressing Table Pot Birmingham 1932

A superb guilloche enamel silver topped dressing table pot.  The glass base of the pot is decorated with a cross hatch pattern and has a star design cut into the base.   The octagonal silver top is coated in the most beautiful vivid blue enamel in a delectable star burst design.  The top is hallmarked on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark of 1932 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver.  The silver maker's mark is rubbed.  The underneath of the lid is a pale gilt finish.
