This is a lovely Edwardian silver jewellery casket stunning engraved floral design on the lid and each side with a blank cartouche on the domed top. The interior is guilded and lined with a deep blue/purple velvet, and has a fitted section to hold 5 rings. The base is covered in a dark green leatherette. It bears hallmarks for Chester 1907 and the maker''s mark for William Neale & Sons.
